Ever had a cut so deep that the moment it happens you feel nothing, but later on you feel a rush of pain?
A cut so deep it is numb for a while, confused on whether there is really pain?
A cut so deep that when it is punctured open a red sea rushes out like a river in the rain?
A cut so deep it takes a long time to heal?
A cut so deep, for a while it is impossible to feel?
A cut so deep that it hurts to move?
A cut so deep that only God can soothe?
A cut so deep that still leaves a scar?
A cut so deep that even when it heals you feel the pain from time to time?
A cut so deep you never saw it coming?
If you had of seen it coming, instead of staying to be punctured, you would have been quick to retreat. Wouldn’t have stuck around long enough to deal with it…wouldn’t have given it time to cut you….
But now it’s there. I guess only time can heal DEEP wounds….
